Most urban deliveries are done with diesel trucks and vans that cause climate pollution and congestion. Freewheel delivers goods 100% pollution free with cargo bicycles.
Freewheel partners with companies such as New Roots Organics, Middle Folk Coffee Roasters, Victrola, Organic Valley, Guayaki Yerba Mate and The Stranger. We’re growing and are looking for a couple of great new people to join our team as delivery and promotions staff.
Job Description
Our professional staff perform deliveries and serve as brand ambassadors through our street team marketing program. You get to ride a bike for your job and you can count on hourly pay. You’ll deliver products to coffee shops, grocers, retail outlets, offices and homes throughout Seattle's urban core.
We’re looking for candidates that can work 20-30 hours/week. We need great people who believe in our mission, are absolutely reliable and are willing to do whatever it takes to help us succeed as a disruptive company in a competitive marketplace. There will likely be opportunities to take on more hours and leadership over time.
Qualifications
- Dedicated to our mission
- Physically fit – able to ride 15-20 miles and lift 50+ pounds
- Professional; able to represent Freewheel and our partners
- A proven track record of leadership and reliability
- Team-oriented and flexible
- In addition, prior delivery and/or bike maintenance/repair experience is valued
Pay
- $15+hour
